The 2020 Census count is now complete. Census is very important, especially for American Indians and Alaska Natives. Funding for both urban and tribal programs serving AI/AN people is based on Census population data, including Indian Health Services (IHS), Education, Tribal Housing, and services provided by Kansas City Indian Center.
