Youth Culture Camp 2026

KCIC’s Annual Youth Camp is a five-day, four-night residential camp which provides an opportunity for youth ages 5-13 to learn about traditions and culture and leadership development opportunities for the older youth (ages 14-17) as Counselors in Training (CIT). Senior counselors and members of the American Indian community work with the CITs and campers to aid in the understanding and appreciation of American Indian values, traditions and culture, in addition to swimming, hiking, archery, art and much more.

Thank you to everyone who made the 47th annual camp a success!

Please check back Spring 2027 for information about next year’s camp.

Donate and Support

Youth Camp is possible through the support of the community. Special thanks to the Rotary Club Youth Camp and the volunteer counselors and community members for your support of our program. KCIC accepts in-kind and monetary donations to support our program. Donations are used for camperships, drinks, snacks, crafts and other supplies. Any donation to our program is accepted with heartfelt gratitude. Without your support, most of our youth would not otherwise have an opportunity to experience camp. Please contact KCIC or click the Donate button below.

Volunteer

Without dedicated volunteers, both full and part-time, we would not be able to provide camp for the children. If you are interested in becoming a counselor, support staff, craft/activity staff, or assisting the planning committee, please email information@kcindiancenter.org or call KCIC at (816)-421-7608 or complete the application that will be posted soon.

Other Youth Services

We also additional cultural classes, activities, and events. Information will be updated on our website when available.
