- $5 per pay period will provide food pantry services to a family for a month
- $10 per pay period will send 10 youth to our five-day, four-night annual Culture Camp
- $20 per pay period will provide funding to underwrite Culture Night
The services and programs provided by Kansas City Indian Center depend upon grants and the generosity of our community. KCIC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and donations are tax deductible.
The Kansas City Indian Center welcomes all American Indians and non-Indians, regardless of tribal enrollment or affiliation, place of residence, or ethnic origin.
Your membership dues reflect your support of our mission and provide much needed unrestricted funds to KCIC, which we can allocate to any program as needed. Your membership dues are tax deductible.
Membership is $20 for an Individual or $40 for a family (2 adults and 2 children in same household – additional children are $5). Other levels of membership are also available, and all donations are accepted with appreciation.
Volunteers are a vital resource for the Kansas City Indian Center and enable us to grow and achieve our mission.

Make a Difference with In-Kind Donations
Fresh, frozen, or canned food, personal hygiene items, paper products, or monetary donations are accepted with sincere gratitude. Simply bring donations by the center during business hours. All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowable by law and donations to KCIC’s food pantry qualify for the Missouri Pantry Tax Credit. If your business, organization or church would like to organize a food drive, please contact us to pick up a barrel and signage.
Make a Difference Though United Way Directed Giving (EIN: 43-1012392)
Under the United Way donor directed giving program, Heart of America Indian Center d/b/a Kansas City Indian Center (KCIC) is eligible to receive donor-directed contributions through the annual United Way of Greater Kansas City fundraising campaign. Under this program, donors to United Way may designate all or a portion of their gift to KCIC, as long as the donor directed contribution is a minimum of $50.00. Make a Difference Through the Combined Federal Campaign – Charity Code 61588
Heart of America Indian Center d/b/a Kansas City Indian Center (61588) is a participating charity in both the Heartland Combined Federal Campaign and the National CFC. Federal employees can make a significant difference with their pledge, either as a payroll deduction or one-time donation.
